Designer Outlet Zaragoza continues to advance in its construction to open its doors in spring 2020. The project shows already great evolution at all levels and in the first quarter of next year, its new marketing and communication strategy for the end consumer will be presented.
The plenary session of the city council of Zaragoza approved last September the initial modification of the General Urban Planning Plan (PGOU), by which the special plan of Designer Outlet Zaragoza is regularized.
The new aspirational premium factory outlet will become the shopping destination for Northern Spain and Southern France, with more than 120 fashion and lifestyle brands 30-70% off. Visitors will have the opportunity not only to go shopping in a pleasant and eco-friendly atmosphere, adapted to the new consumer demands, but also to enjoy a great leisure and entertainment offer.
Furthermore, Telefónica´s technological project will turn Designer Outlet Zaragoza into a 100% omnichannel contemporary commercial complex, placing the customer at the heart of the experience and managing processes and big data flows in real time. The agreement between the centre and technological partner Telefónica will show new devices and digital solutions that will encourage the centre´s relationship with its visitors, enabling new learning dynamics through virtual and augmented reality, and an interactive app.
adidas will open an Outlet Store with their brands adidas & Reebok with more than 1,000 sqm. The project will have a new El Corte Inglés Outlet with the best brands and great discounts.
Fifty, outlet of the Tendam Group (Cortefiel, Pedro del Hierro, Springfield, Women´Secret, and Milano) will be established in Designer Outlet Zaragoza as part of its national and international expansion process, offering a unique omnichannel shopping experience in the outlet sector. With "Smart shopping" as its business core, General Manager Raúl Ramírez Hidalgo states "Zaragoza is a technologically advanced city with mature purchasing habits that will facilitate the implementation of the Club Fifty customer loyalty system with the extensive commercial commitment of each of its brands providing a plural, broad and differentiated shopping experience”.
Guess and Mango will also open a shop in Designer Outlet Zaragoza. They see this space as the best alternative to continue increasing their outlet presence in a strategic location within the Ebro valley and -specifically- in a city, that is already today a reference destination for shopping with a target audience of 2.5 million people.
Film operator Artesiete will open eight new theatres with the highest technology in the sector. Dolby Atmos immersive 360º surround sound system, an innovative and powerful listening experience. Next-generation 4K Laser projectors and large, high-resolution screens for perfect perspective, visibility, definition and brightness to enjoy every detail and visual effect. Chairs of maximum comfort upholstered in pleather with generous dimensions, and with automatic mechanism that allows regulating the backrest and footrest to the will of the spectator. All this in order to offer the best customer experience.
As part of its leisure offer, Designer Outlet Zaragoza will also count with the new concepts of entertainment Lego Fan Factory, a spectacular free access toy library that will open every day, and the first MadLab of Aragon, an ultimate and disruptive technological leisure space. This will enable living 100% immersive team experiences, combining virtual reality and mixed reality with the world of video games and Escape Rooms. All of this within a wide range of contents, such as Los Pitufos (the world's first child-family escape room under this brand). Moreover, a virtual multiplayer hyper-reality experience from Star Trek, a CSI crime experience space, an interactive projection room from Charmed or the world's largest arcade machine for playing Tetris, will be some of the experiences that visitors will be able to enjoy.
