The stores of La Torre Outlet Zaragoza are committed to responsible consumption and care for the environment. For this reason, they house collections made with sustainable materials, such as organic or recycled cotton. All of them also have discounts of 30 to 70% throughout the year.
We also have a garment bin where you can leave all your unused garments to give your clothes a second life.
GREEN MOBILITY
Along with its commitment to reduce energy emissions, La Torre Outlet Zaragoza also pursues a shift to sustainable transportation practices. The centre is easily accessible by public transport and encourages visitors to take these methods where possible through marketing and incentives.
While the location and nature of the centre often lend itself to car travel, La Torre Outlet Zaragoza wants to ensure that this demand is sustainable. So, the centre is equipped with e-charging stations, helping consumers to reach the centers in lower-carbon methods, reducing emissions and improving air quality for the surrounding communities.
GOING LOCAL
It is usual for La Torre Outlet Zaragoza to engage the local community and invite them to enjoy onsite culture activities by organizing small music festivals and games for children.
In September 2021 and June 2022, La Torre Outlet Zaragoza hosted the Aragon Fashion Week and the Young Aragonese Designers Competition. The outlet centre collaborated with the Federation of Textile and Clothing Industries of Aragon (FITCA) to support the local textile and commercial sector. Sustainability, innovation, cinema and the visibility of the fashion industry were the main topics of the firts year, while fashion as a change engine was the protagonist in the second edition.
RECICLOS
In order to promote recycling and reduce waste, La Torre Outlet Zaragoza was the first shopping center in Aragón to have several Reciclos machines, from Ecoembes. This initiative consists of a Return and Reward System that works through mobile phones and rewards responsible environmental behavior.
It is a digital evolution of the recycling habit, through recognition. Thus, every time the customer throws a can or bottle of drink in the yellow container and registers it in the Recycles system, he wins and the environment wins.
In addition to our recycling machines, we have specific containers for batteries in our Welcome Centre.
ENERGY EFFICIENCY
Energy efficiency is an important part of the environmental responsibility of La Torre Outlet Zaragoza. For this reason, LED lighting technology is used in the facilities, which contributes to reduce the cost of electricity and the total energy consumption.
In order to make the transition to renewable energies, La Torre Outlet Zaragoza already uses solar energy. This is not only a good alternative to become energy independent, but also to have a better impact on air quality. According to the European Commission, clean air has a positive effect on mankind’s health and could save more than 400,000 lives every year.
La Torre Outlet Zaragoza continues to develop and implement new specific improvements to achieve its energy efficiency goals and produce fewer emissions.
